Whether you're an experienced cruiser or considering your first voyage, there are plenty of options available. Cruises depart from ports worldwide and vary greatly in style, destination, and duration.
Types of cruises
Ocean cruises: These are the most common cruises, featuring large "floating hotel" ships with multiple pools, waterslides, dining options, and nightly shows. They can take you to destinations like the Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska.
River cruises: For a more intimate experience, these smaller ships sail along inland waterways, offering close-up views of cities and landscapes. You can take a river cruise in destinations like Europe's Danube or the Nile in Egypt.
Expedition cruises: Geared toward adventure-seekers, these cruises use small, rugged ships to explore remote destinations like Antarctica, the Arctic, or the Galapagos Islands. Onboard experts provide educational lectures to enhance the journey.
